People are capable of being wise, foolish, and wicked. One of the five types of fools in Proverbs, and the most frequently described, is the “stubborn fool.” This person easily slides into wickedness and evil behavior. He knows what he should do and regularly chooses not to do it. This teaching elaborates on this kind of foolish behavior and how to respond to it.
