The word “church” in the Bible does not mean a building, but is the Greek word “ecclesia” meaning “the called out” or “the assembly.” Jesus said that where two or more gathered in his name, he was in the midst. The “Simple Church Movement” of home fellowships has helped spread the good news of Jesus Christ around the world.
