People who lived during the Old Testament and the Four Gospels were not directed by God to share their Faith with others. Jesus gave a brand-new message to the Apostles in Acts 1:8: to be witnesses for Christ to the ends of the earth. Today, Christians have been given the ministry and the message to speak to reconcile people to God. For that reason, Christians are ambassadors for Christ.
