Satan is the god of this present world and is in control of its systems, creating a spiritual battle always around us. Once a person receives salvation through Jesus Christ, his citizenship changes and he becomes a citizen of heaven, but is still in that battle. Christians are to look for their Savior coming from heaven and to not be entangled or discouraged living “behind enemy lines.”
