Jesus is betrayed by Judas in Gethsemane, abandoned by his disciples, and subject to unjust trials before the Sanhedrin and Pontius Pilate. This session explores Jesus’ agony in prayer, Judas’ treachery, Peter’s denial, and the horrible torture and mockery Jesus suffers. Though falsely accused and condemned, Jesus remains silent and resolute, fulfilling Scripture and embracing his mission as the suffering Messiah.
