Jesus enters Jerusalem triumphantly, provoking messianic expectations and escalating tensions with Jewish religious leaders. He curses a fig tree, symbolizing the fruitless unbelief of Israel, and drives people out of the temple, asserting his judgment and authority over corrupt worship. Religious leaders challenge him, but Jesus evades their traps with wisdom and tact.
