This session explores kingdom values as Jesus challenges religious and cultural norms on divorce, wealth, power, and the meaning of greatness. Through encounters with Pharisees, children, the rich young ruler, and blind Bartimaeus, Jesus characterizes true discipleship as humble dependence and trust in him and in God without respect to status, wealth, or reputation. The call to follow Jesus involves self-sacrifice, servanthood, and total allegiance to him.
