Ehud was a warrior born in terrible times during the Moabite occupation of Israel. God worked in him to deliver the Israelites from the Moabites by killing the Moabite king, Eglon, and then leading Israel in a decisive victory over the Moabites. The short record has many life lessons buried in it that are valuable for us today.
