Self-Control

The Bible mentions self-control as a fruit of the spirit, and the importance of self-control cannot be overstated. Self-control comes from what the Bible calls the “inner self” and a person who does not rule their own life but lets the influence of others and their fleshly desires and emotions rule their life will end up being quite miserable. The Bible has a lot to say about self-control in many areas, such as eating, sleeping, spending or saving, and controlling one’s emotions.
