Rehoboam, King of Judah

Rehoboam was the son of Solomon who became king of Judah after Solomon died. He was not a godly king, but did evil in the sight of Yahweh God, and it was his hard-hearted and selfish actions that led to the division of the United Kingdom David had established. A study of Rehoboam shows the great value of humility and obeying Yahweh, and the consequences, both in this life and in the future, of ignoring or defying God.
