Our Purpose in Christ

Taking an expository view of Ephesians 2, we see that verses 1-10 focus on what God did for us in Christ as individuals. Verses 11-22 focus on what God did for us in Christ as a group of people. Every believer is created in Christ to do good works—works that he uniquely brings to the Body of Christ. As a diverse group “being fitted together,” we grow, serving God, our Lord Jesus and each other.
