Mercy and Forgiveness: Examples from the Bible to Help Us Mature in Christ

This teaching explores the relationship between mercy and forgiveness. It explores the first usage of the word mercy regarding Jacob’s anxiety-ridden decision to send his beloved Benjamin to Egypt. Joseph’s motivation to forgive his brothers is explored. Jesus’ heart of love & mercy regarding the woman with an issue of blood is also explored. This teaching challenges each of us to mature in Christ by practicing mercy & forgiveness.
