Matthew 25: The Sheep and Goat Judgment

In the week before his crucifixion, Jesus taught his disciples about the end times and concluded with the explanation of “The Sheep and Goat Judgment.” This judgment occurs after Jesus fights the Battle of Armageddon and likely before the first resurrection—the resurrection of the righteous. Many will survive the Tribulation and Armageddon, but not all will be fit for Christ’s kingdom. In this judgment, God’s “sheep,” the righteous, will enter the kingdom, while the “goats,” the unrighteous, will be destroyed.
