Jesus at the Temple, and Simeon and Anna

After Jesus was born, but before the Magi arrived, Joseph and Mary took baby Jesus to the Temple as the Mosaic Law directed. They offered two different offerings, the redemption money to redeem their firstborn son, and two turtledoves or pigeons, one for a burnt offering and one for a sin offering. While they were there, a man named Simeon prophesied over them, as did Anna the prophetess.
