Following Jesus Together, part 1b – “Compassionate Leadership”

One of the great metaphors given in the scriptures to describe the relationship between God and mankind is the Shepherd and His sheep. In the Bible a shepherd often refers to a king or ruler, and a good shepherd provides strong leadership with tender care. As the good shepherd, Jesus demonstrated compassionate leadership. We are encouraged to follow his example to love and care for one another.
