Believed and Fully Persuaded
The degree to which we believe the good news directly affects our confidence in it. If we are not fully persuaded about the message of Christ, we may feel ashamed when we are challenged, criticized, or mocked for our faith. To be persuaded is not to simply agree with the truthfulness of the message about Christ, but to have a deep, steadfast conviction that is ready to face any obstacle and a willingness to experience hardship, suffering, and loss on account of it.
