In Acts Chapter 2, we read of the day of Pentecost. This was the birth of Christianity and the beginning of a time of enormous growth of the church. These events seem so wonderful, yet so distant. What would it have been like to witness that kind of explosive growth in person? It must have been thrilling to experience the response by so many to Peter’s bold declaration of God’s action that enabled the rescue of mankind by his son Jesus. People became filled with holy spirit, praised God like never before, experienced signs, miracles, and wonders! In a word – deliverance!
Never did I imagine that I would ever live in a time to see anything even close to Acts 2. Yet, God’s words from thousands of years ago are still spoken. They remain relevant, powerful, and are still presented today in Eastern Africa by a class called New Life in Christ (NLIC). It declares that the Bible can be trusted. It teaches how to be rescued by God who loves us dearly. It reveals spiritual truth that has an everlasting impact. People are filled with knowledge, holy spirit, wonder, love and hope. Many are being saved and coming to a knowledge of the truth.

Here are two stories from NLIC classes from Uganda shared this month. In the words of Aryong Samuel.
And great stories from 2 people I am going to narrate.
The story of a woman whose daughter was in marriage for 10 years without a child, but when she joined NLIC class, and through great prayers, she conceived and last week she gave birth to a baby girl.
And then the 2nd story was about a man who have been suffering with children who are sickle celled, but when he joined NLIC class and through great prayers and commitment all his 3 children are now ok and healed.
The final topic for this report is harvesting crops. You may recall that in April 2024, a devastating storm struck Uganda. It damaged many structures and washed away the planting for the next harvest. We provided an emergency fund to help recover and many decided to replant even though it was very late in the season to do so. We all have been praying for a successful harvest, for God to bless them with abundance in the face of this spiritual attack.

In fall of 2024, harvesting that crop was in the early stages. We received a report from John Kiuka regarding his “garden of rice” that is three acres. Each acre requires a lot of manual labor, so they are harvested one at a time over a period of a week or more. The rice is put in bags that weigh up to 200 pounds each. He left me a message after the first acre excitedly saying that the normal yield for the field is 17 bags of rice, but this time he harvested 25 bags! Shortly after, we received another message about acre number 2.
Great news brother that the harvest was so again very productive brother. Prayers changes many things brother. This second acre again – everyone is wondering how God do His things. I got again 27 bags of rice from 18 which they used to get from that acre!
Our God is a miracle worker!

We are humbled and blessed to serve these wonderful believers.
Thank you greatly for your continued support!
