Somehow, it’s already October!
Time sure seemed to fly in 2025. A steady routine can change how we perceive the passing of time, especially when life feels like a constant cycle of to-do lists and scheduled events.
But in the midst of our routine, we can easily overlook the present moment. Lately, God has been teaching me about mindfulness—being fully present instead of always anticipating the next thing. When we live only for the “big moments,” we risk missing the quiet, meaningful ones where He is speaking and working. We can become less attuned to His presence, less responsive to His call, and less engaged with the people around us.
This week, we encourage you to embrace mindfulness. Be aware of God’s presence in the small moments. Instead of rushing from task to task, pause to listen, reflect, and serve. Disconnect from distractions and choose to pray, read, journal, enjoy a meal, play with loved ones, and cherish face-to-face conversations. As you do, you might discover that the “in-between” moments are actually the most precious of all.
