God wants us to be wise and disciplined. Fools show contempt for wisdom and instruction. They make poor decisions, which makes life harder than necessary. Wisdom is personified as a woman calling out to people to heed her words of truth. The path of life is uphill, but with God’s wisdom, it becomes less difficult.
