In this section of Philippians, Paul addresses the Judaizers about having confidence in circumcision of the flesh and not having confidence in Jesus Christ in whom true circumcision lies. Paul tells them that all the accomplishments of his past are nothing compared to the exceeding greatness of knowing Christ personally and experientially now and having hope of this in the future. He discloses three keys to always rejoicing in the Lord.
