Whether Jesus was grieving the death of John the Baptist, or feeding a hungry crowd, or talking to the Samaritan woman at the well, he responded to other’s needs above his own. His priority was to proclaim the Good News by word and deed regardless of his own personal circumstances. This is our example of showing the love of God to others.
