In this session, we learn from the Bible that the dead are dead, “sleeping” in the ground and turned back to dust. They are not alive in Heaven, Hell, or Paradise, as is commonly taught. God never comforts anyone by telling them they will immediately go to heaven when they die. The Bible clearly states that Jesus is the only person who has died and ascended into Heaven after His death.
